Vampires Realm - The Vampires

The Vampires Realm series focuses on the pure bloodlines and weaker bloodlines of Europe. Split into seven families, the pure bloodlines of Europe rule absolutely, although they themselves are governed by the laws put in place millennia ago. Aurorea [The Dawn]

The Aurorea (The Dawn) bloodline have spent centuries raising themselves up into a position where they are one of the bloodlines to be truly feared. Sharing the city of Prague with the Caelestis, their past is as chequered as that of their neighbours, and in some respects is entangled with the Caelestis. Caelestis [The Heavenly]

The Caelestis (The Heavenly) bloodline have become one of the most peaceful. While the Aurorea have become dominant in the city of Prague, the Caelestis have almost become submissive. Their bloody past came to an end with the joining of the two houses of Aurorea and Caelestis, but since the deaths of the two vampires responsible, the truce has been rapidly disappearing. Nocens [The Wicked]

The Nocens (The Wicked) are the entrepreneurs of the seven pure bloodlines of Europe. Spending most of their time in their home city of Budapest, they have developed several pieces of technology to assist the bloodlines in their daily life, protecting their species from the very present dangers of the world. The Tenebrae (The Darkness) are known for their darkness, their penchant for keeping blood slaves and for taking great pleasure from violence. Based in remote Romania, they don't mix with the other bloodlines often. Black eyes when in their vampire guise.

Seen as the leader of the pure bloodlines, the Validus (The Mighty) are almost treated as royalty. Reclusive by nature, there has not been a new Validus in centuries. They share their home city of St. Petersburg with the Venia. The oldest living vampires of all the bloodlines are Validus, with their current lord being over 3000 years old. Strong, resourceful and born leaders, they are a force to be reckoned with. Royal purple eyes when in their vampire guise.

Vehemens [The Violent]

The Vehemens (The Violent) have spread themselves far and wide across Europe, although their homeland is in Scandinavia. They have a tendency to look to the stronger of their bloodline to lead them, creating small groups in various cities, as opposed to having one main city, although all leaders of these groups report to the lord or lady of their bloodline. Violent by name and by nature, they make formidable enemies and are responsible for most vampire hunter deaths. Blood red eyes when in their vampire guise.

The Venia (The Graceful) reflect their name beautifully. Based in St. Petersburg with the Validus, they are a calm and peaceful bloodline more interested in politics and democracy than violence and bloodshed. Ice blue eyes when in their vampire guise.

The Weaklings

The weaklings, or the bastard bloodline, is seen as a type of pest by the seven pure bloodlines. Weaker, slower and less socially structured than their elite brethren, the weaklings are forced to live in a dangerous and lawless world.
