The Demons
Vampires and werewolves share their world with underdemons that are either allies or enemies. Mercenaries, bodyguards or assistants, the demons of the underworld come in many shapes and sizes, most of which are happy to feed off humans and a lot of which are even happier to be killing vampires. Below are the demons that appear in the Vampires Realm series.
Aleaeries
Known for their skills as mercenaries, the Aleaeries are winged, horned demons of the underworld. Their ability to shape-shift make them ideal bounty hunters, and the fact that they see thermally has made them one of the top demons to contact when placing a price on the head of a vampire.
Griminor
Dark demons of the underworld, Griminor feed off humans like vampires but prefer to consume the flesh as well as the blood. Will kill vampires and werewolves with relish, seeing them as filthy halfbreeds unworthy to walk the world.
Kalamemnon
Light demons that will help vampires and werewolves. Kalamemnon have the ability to day walk, although their appearance often rules this out. Light blue skin and purple eyes, they don't tend to blend in. Propensity for killing, but most of their species have learnt to control themselves and prefer to only kill when necessary.
Tk'shal
Tk'shal are large, unruly bodyguards and heavy hands of some of the lesser vampire bloodlines. These demons aren't high on the intelligence scale and most vampires see them as willing slaves or pets.
Umbra
The Umbra are shadow vampires. Able to day walk as a shadow but only has solid form at night. Cousin to the vampire, although they do not prey on blood. They are wraiths that feed off psychic forces and belong to the underworld. Often recruited as spies.
